The OIG investigated three allegations of time theft, resulting in the OIG identifying at least $9,000 in theft. Evidence suggests a higher loss. This marks the third, fourth, and fifth substantiated time-theft cases in two years, highlighting insufficient supervision and the need for robust internal controls to prevent recurrence.
